This was a lantern I made for my wife. I have made two of them and both look good. You can use the concentric pattern on the top and bottom layers to add a little character to the base.

I only used supports for the handle, handle support, and pegs with a brim. I did however used support blocks where the handle support fits in because it was difficult removing the support from such a small place. I also used a 100% infill with a .2 layer height. The infill pattern I used the concentric pattern to make sure it was solid.

Base and Top I used 20% infill, layer height of .2 and a line infill pattern but any will work. I did not use any supports for the Top and the hole come out fine.

It took around 102 hours of print time, with the base taking the longest.

I used the pegs to align the top to fit on the base and super glue as a binding agent.
