This could help students by being able to do homework everywhere. For example in your bed, couch, or even on the go. The issues I came up against was attaching the things and then realizing I had to edit it after. If I could redesign I would add a compartment for folders/notebooks. It would help strengthen the design by it being able to be made by the student and the plastic will make it durable and able to be washed.
