This is a lap timer was designed for line following robotics competitions, and was used in the LVBots May 2018 line following competition. The download includes SLDPRT, STL, and DXF files. This lap timer uses an A-Star 32U4 Prime (with LCD) and a VL6180X Time-of-Flight Distance Sensor Carrier with Voltage Regulator. It is adjustable both horizontally and vertically and laser-cut from 1/8" (~3mm) acrylic. The design uses #2 screws, so you will need the following hardware:
* 9 × 3/8" #2 screws
* 2 × 1/2" #2 screws
* 11 × #2 nuts
Please note that these screws are for holding the acrylic pieces together (you will need additional hardware if you are mounting your electronics to the base plate). You might also consider using some acrylic cement to permanently bond the pieces together.
As mentioned above, the design is intended for use with an Arduino-compatible A-Star 32U4 Prime (with LCD) and a VL6180X Time-of-Flight Distance Sensor Carrier with Voltage Regulator. To mount the
