Laptop Stand

Since getting into 3D printing, I've had the most fun so far making custom stand and holders for the things in my life.

In that sense, this project is no different. It's a stand for my old Surface Book that reduces its footprint on my desk dramatically.

Now for whats special about this project, I designed it specifically with remixing in mind. The stand is split into an inner and outer shell. The idea being that if someone liked the stand but owned a different model laptop, they could create a new inner shell to slid into the forgiving dimensions of the outer.

I got the idea after posting my own remix of the Ultimate iPhone dock. I received a sizable amount of interest in additional remixes for this phone and that case, so i wanted to design something that offered some user customization.
