Laptop Stand

My design is intended to be used as a laptop stand and cable management system. It uses vents in order for your laptop to breathe and not overheat, as well as being slightly angled in order for your laptop to also have space underneath. Not only is there ventilation for the stand, but also two cable holders to help keep your desk minimal and neat.

An issue I came up against would be to figure out how to keep the laptop from sliding down the stand. I ended up going with rectangular pegs to keep the laptop from sliding, but initially had spheres which would have trouble printing.

If I could redesign this product again I would make the stand area below the laptop be mesh as opposed to having circular vents. This would have given the stand more stability while still airing out the laptop.

3D printing would help my design by seeing what would go wrong with it and what could be improved. I could see what pegs work best in keeping the laptop from sliding, and could compare different
