This is a 13" high display case modelled as if it was for displaying cooled pastries. The large base is not required for this to be a workable model. The interior area is over 220 mm tall and about 200 or so deep, 220mm or so wide. I used a piece of acrylic for the glass that I obtained from cutting up one of those menu signs found on front counters in restaurants. I purchased mine from Staples. The actual acrylic is 220mm wide by 255mm in height. The gap that the acrylic fits into is 2mm. The material I purchased was 1.72mm thick. I never know why I design anything but this one is kind of neat although my colour scheme didn't really do any justice to my test model.
