iv'e created a laser beam alignment kit with targets, I suggest you use card stock and use low laser power when aligning,
you put the targets inside or in between and fire the laser and adjust accordingly
you can use the insert to clean the slots and to get the slot broke in so the card stock is easy to move in and out.

Use supports for best results.
