USE THE .FCStd FILE !!! I don't know what a .obj is, but I had to upload something other than a freeCAD file for Thingiverse to recognise it as a "model file". I recommend exporting from the FreeCAD file. You can use the .obj file if you want, but I've no idea if it will work.
I designed this stand to make use of scrap material under the laser cutter in Farset Labs. I thought that I was using 5mm plywood for the connecting pieces, and 7mm for the side pieces. However, upon measuring now, it appears that all the pieces I used are 5mm, which is why the side pieces are able to bend outward slightly.
This is kind of a happy accident, because I think this angle adds stability. I would recommend either leaving it as it is, or editing the hook shaped connectors of the middle piece so that the sides fit on at an angle.
I didn't add tolerances to this design, instead I just filed and sanded the connecting parts until they fit, because that's something that I'm more familiar with, and I wanted
