Laser Cut Linear Actuator

This is a linear actuator for a 9g servo. It is designed to be laser cut from 3mm material (I use MDF) and generally snaps together although some glue may be required.

It works pretty well, although at the extremes of the driver rod there is a little bit of vertical wobble.

The gear slides snugly onto the end of the servo, so no glue or screws should be required for good motion.
