I had a tonne of 1mm card laying around and wanted to make a gift for my brother who used to work for a shipping company ("K" Line).
I generated a box (50x50x130mm) using https://en.makercase.com/ and dropped the .svg file into Adobe Illustrator to add the details.
The downside to using this card is that the edges, where the laser cuts, are very sooty so I sprayed the panels with clear coat - just to lock it all in.
Once it was all cured I glued it up using CA / Super glue.
