This has been designed to be fitted together around a laser diode and then held in place with cut off 3mm filament.

I've done a little platter for you. You'll get the idea.

I use this instead of the fan on my RepRap. At the end of the build the laser diode receives the 5V it needs to project the laser dot onto somewher I can see it. This tells me the build is finished and I can go and get the job off the printer.

Print with ABS. Hopefully 3mm. Glue with Pipe Weld or Acetone.
