I've always wanted a laser disc clock. I finally got my hands on some laser discs from a local e-recycle shop for $5. Picked up a decent high torque clock works from Amazon for $11 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LH5Q88. All I needed was a bushing and clock hands so I made them. I have a vinyl cutter to cut numbers but figured the community would like to see something they can make with the tools they already have, thus the hash clips.
This design is a double sided bushing so print two, one for the back, one for the front. You may need to make it slightly thinner to grab the disc so it does not spin. Another option is to print one and use it on the front only.
The hands have little clearance when attached to the clock works so make sure the hour hand is snug on the white collet if you make the hole bigger or it won't turn with the time. The minute hand is just thin enough to allow you to barely put the bolt on. Feel free to edit the hands as you please.
