which is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:38016
The evolution of this tree went from plastic to wood with metal, then to wood only.
The design is for 3mm plywood (size 190 x 290mm), but the exact thickness of the material is not critical (max 3.3mm). For 4mm plywood, scale up the design to 125%. (238 x 363mm)
A Lasercutter kerf of 0.1 to 0.2mm is already compensated in the drawing.
The star at the top serves as a wedge to hold the tree together. Another wedge is at the bottom of the tree. Multiple sizes of wedges are supplied, use the one that fits best. Or apply some glue.
Update 20191019: Made the stem 1mm thicker, added a version for 3.4mm plywood,
Update 20191021: Connector gaps 0.35mm for the 3.2mm version.
Update 20191030: version for vertical grain added.
Update 20191211: changed 2.5mm slot for star to 2.3mm, added wedges 4mm and 4.2mm
Update 20211109: added 4mm and 5mm versions for diffe
