Lattice structured Control Arm

A control arm, also known as an A-arm, is a crucial component in a vehicle's suspension system. It acts as a hinged link between the chassis and the wheel, allowing the wheel to move vertically in response to road irregularities. Control arms play a significant role in maintaining proper tyre contact with the road, ensuring safety and stability by keeping the wheels aligned.
Control Arm weight is reduced by incorporating lattices (Hexagonal and TPMS-Gyroid). The original model was downloaded from GrabCAD and imported into nTop for weight reduction designs.
