Lawn Mower Throttle Position Widget

Lost this cleaning carb and prepping mower for spring 2025. On newer automatic mowers, there is nothing to do, but closing the lever and pulling the rope. This widget engages with mower fan and is positioned by the fan. Not sure what funtion it serves for carb, maybe to remove choke once engine is started or allow fuel to flow? Needed, i believe, nontheless.
