On my old printer I needed to know when I was on layer 20 so I made one of these on my new printer there is absolutely no need for it at all but I made one anyway.
You will also need the smallest amount or Blu-Tack you could imagine or a magnet and a bit of tape to stick to the frame with a point on it so you can see what level you are on.
