Layered Eagle

Laser Cut Layered Eagle Wall Display. This is a Layered Eagle, with multiple parts, but only uses 3 sheets to spectacular effect. Simple Cut and Assembly. Overall Dimensions: 11-1/2" Wide x 5-1/2" Tall x 3/4" Deep. (290mm W x 140mm T x 18mm D) 3 Sheets needed. My photos are of 3mm Black Walnut, 3mm Sapele, and 3mm Birch plywood, all from bambu. Any of the Bambu 3mm sheets would be fine, but the contrast in the 3 colors makes it stand out and add charachter. For the eye, beak and talons, I used a yellow and Orange sharpie, I probably would have just used the yellow, or maybe a slightly more yellow orange colored Sharpie if I had to. Use little dots of superglue or wood glue to glue the pieces together. Simple layering, so not hard to assemble at all. The most important part is just take you time to line things up and it'll turn out great. on the very back layer I did cut a line to help line up the second layer.
