This is a from-scratch design, so not really a remix, but is heavily inspired by berkey93's very nice Pulsar Spinner with embedded hex nuts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2108748
My four year old son can't play with the fidget spinner that he was given because his hands are too small for it to rotate past his palm, so i wanted to make something smaller. Additionally, I have always thought the traditional "tri-spinner" with the four outer bearings was really a waste of bearings, since the outer ones were used for nothing more than rotational mass.
I whipped up this spinner that uses lead weights for rotational mass. It uses a 608 skate bearing for the center axis and uses the simple rectangular lead weights that you can buy at any hobbyshop (or amazon) because I do not have time to melt lead into a custom shape.
The lead weights are smaller than 608 bearings, so I was able to get the overall diameter down to 58mm, which is just small enough to allow my son to play with it
