Leaf Ejector

The Leaf Ejector, like most items of this type, is intended to separate water from leaves & other solid matter within the guttering downpipe. It is designed to be inserted within RECTANGULAR downpipes of 98mm x 50mm internal cross section.

When correctly fitted, a small "tray" will project from the front of the downpipe. There are a couple of studs on either side of the tray. These do double duty. Firstly to prevent any possibility that the Leaf Ejector could fall into the downpipe. Secondly they function as mounting studs for fitting a basket (not yet available) for when its not desirable to just have the leaf litter expelled willy nilly (like onto your nice clean deck for example).

This design may not be suitable if you:
~have a problem with large quantities of leaves
~have downpipes that are NOT rectangular in cross-section
