This is a standard 3mm LED. Since manufacturers specs vary, I combined measurements from several different datasheets. This model could be used as a "dummy fit" when designing your own cases or projects.
There are 2 different STL files included. One is a merged LED, the other is separated so you can see/alter the chip die internals.
I have included the Blender files, so renderings can be used for project proposals or artistic/photographic uses.
I tried to keep the Polygon count low so model can be combined with other projects.
--This is my 1st published "thing" (yay!), so stay tuned for more useful models.
All models are ones that I personally use or print. This particular model came about because I needed a 3mm LED as part of a larger upcoming project. I couldn't find a "ready-made" LED, so I thought it may be of use to others as well.
