A lightweight cylinder with a narrow line light beam, will be good for RC because the model can be edited and meshmixed here.

Uses 12VLED strip and 4pcs. 2032 coin batteries.
Can slide a piece of the clear vacuum packaging (it comes on many non food store products) in between the 2 batteries to turn it off.
Could change the slot and put film gel inside for any color of light. Still on after more than 24 hrs. at time of edit.
The new black version has a better seam, but it still doesn't lock together, also has the axis pins. Made the slot smaller but printed slot up this time and the slot was bigger.
Slot down seems to be more accurate.
In total darkness, the light line is 20-30 ft long.
Will be fun to spin it because it will light up everything I think.
The Makerbot did the pins fine with no supports.
