The cool thing about this light is, the step down transformer, switch and everything is inside the unit.

So, when I turn it off from the unit, I am not just turning it off in the secondary circuit.

I am breaking the main circuit, and therefore not wasting any electricity however small it may be.

So, I don't have to feel guilty for keeping it plugged in. LOL
