LED Lighting for Printrbot Plus

Required Items:
rite lite LED spotlights (3 pack) Model Number: LPL743W
AAA batteries
Small screw driver
Side cutters


Step 1
Disassemble the light housing by removing the 4 screws in the back

Step 2
Remove the battery tray without breaking the wires off.

Step 3
Use the side cutters to remove all four of the side tabs on the battery tray.

Step 4
Now you are ready to print the new back housing with the new mounting bracket. I have included both the solid model file and a sketchup file in case you want to modify it.

Step 5 Press the battery tray into the new housing but be careful of the wires.

Step 6 Last thing is to put the case back together with the 4 screws and you are done. It should fit over the top rail without the need for any permanent type of fastener.
