LED Strip Mounting Clip

This clip was developed to solve a common issue with LED light strips: the double-sided adhesive often loses its grip over time, especially on painted or textured surfaces.The clip provides a stable mechanical hold that prevents the strip from detaching, sagging, or shifting.It was tested with a Philips Hue LED strip, but the design is compatible with most standard LED strips of similar width.The mounting hole is intentionally simple: the prototype shown in the photos uses a small nail, but the clip also supports alternative fasteners such as countersunk screws or other small hardware, depending on the surface and installation method.The geometry is compact, easy to print, and requires no supports.
