LedCube Base

This is a base for the commonly available 8x8x8 led cube kit with 20mm spacing. Specifically the one that generally has music in the description. Just compare your board to the pictures.

I couldn't find a base for this kit so I hope others find this useful. It was very tedious getting all the openings to fit, but it is just about perfect. There may be boards with additional functions requiring additional cut outs. If so, the CAD files are available; or I might be persuaded to add a modified version.

I've also included the stl for a jig that I used for soldering up the led grids.

I printed this with natural PLA (semi transparent) so the leds on the bottom could shine through.
