Left-Hand Rule

This is a simple tool to determine the direction of the Lorentz force according to the left-hand rule. In many cases you do not have to put your hand in unnatural positions anymore.

Tips are labeled:
I for the direction of charged particles (negative).
B for the direction of the magnetic field lines (from north to south).
F for the direction of the Lorentz force.

Dies ist ein einfaches Instrument, um die Richtung der Lorentz-Kraft gemäß der Linke-Hand-Regel zu bestimmen. In vielen Fällen muss man seine Hand nicht mehr in unnatürliche Positionen bringen.

Die Spitzen sind beschriftet:
I für die Richtung geladener Teilchen (negativ).
B für die Richtung der Magnetfeldlinien (von Nord nach Süd).
F für die Richtung der Lorentz-Kraft.
