Leopard 1 A2

History: The result of a failed French-German collaboration to produce their very own main battle tank, the Leopard 1 became the mainstay of NATO armored forces at the time. Much like its French counterpart, the AMX-30, it was designed with emphasis on speed and firepower rather than armor alone, qualities that would improve survivability in times where more efficient anti-tank munitions were inevitable. Some would argue that the Leopard 1 fulfilled its roles evenly than the tanks of its period.

Notes: 1/100 scale model remixed from Guaro3D now includes rectifications & updates (i.e. undercarriage in-fill, detailed tools and tool boxes, new engine deck, cleaner turret rack, machine gun, radio antennas, amended geometry, etc.) for aesthetic, historical accuracy, and easier print. Model served in Italy's Centauro armored brigade. Turret should rotate. If otherwise, please let us know. Panzer Vor!
