I was intrigued by the knife from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yta-9iZ-gTQ, so I designed something similar but taking the parallel-rulers-esque folding mechanism to its logical conclusion.
The knife works surprisingly well after you get used to using the unique folding mechanism. It's also easy to assemble, doesn't use any springs, and still stays closed until you want to open it and stays open until you want to close it.
The Solidworks Part files are included if you would like to make modifications.
Note: Requires 4 M3 Screws and 4 M3 nuts
IMPORTANT: This is not a weapon! I've only included the files for a thin, 3D printable, plastic blade, and even with a metal blade this knife is likely too flimsy to be used as a weapon effectively.
