LFID - Local Firewall Independent Device Prototype Model

LFID - "Local Firewall Independent Device" is a product designed I designed for my group "Cyber Insecurity" as part of the module 3E4 - "Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Engineers".

The task given was to develop a cyber-security product for use in the home.

LFID was designed to act as a secure firewall between the devices in a user’s home network and the outside world, not allowing any unauthorised devices to connect to the network.

With the LFID installed, the user’s home broadband – be it DSL or fibre optic connects into the LFID device, which in turn connects to the home user’s router and any other access points.
