libcm LCD Cubby Mount

Cubby mount for the libcm 20x4 LCD display module for 2000-2006 Honda Insight with libcm LiIon conversion kit.

This will require you to route the libcm LCD harness down the driver's side of the vehicle up to the cubby. It is okay if it is slightly short, as an extension will be used for ease of install.


Parts needed:
This model
.1 pitch 4 pin extension cable. A fan header extension cable from Amazon was the easiest to source - search "4 pin fan extension cable"
5/16" or 3/8" length #4 self tapping screws, qty6
(optional) Paint. SEM Presidio interior paint matches the best in my testing
(optional) 3M VHB tape (or other doublesided foam tape), 1/2" wide.

Assembly instructions:
1. Print mount
2. [Optional] Paint mount
3. Cut a hole large enough to pass through the small size of the extension cable at the back top of the cubby
4. Drill two clearance holes for the #4 screws at the outside edge of the top latch feature on the cubby, 28mm towards the back of the cubby.
