Lid for Round Containers

A lid on one of our Pyrex containers split. To replace the lid was $4, so I designed this. The SCAD Customize option will allow you to create your own lid to fit your own containers. Options are:Inside Diameter - of the lid - corresponding to the outside diameter of the containerHeight - of the lidTaper - option to taper the lid in towards the ‘bottom’ of the container by 2mm (many of these glass containers taper, and this can improve the fit)Lid Thickness - of the top, I used 2mmWall Thickness - of the sides - I used 1mm I recommend TPU for its flexibility. The picks show a clear lid without a tab on a Pyrex container and another lid with a tab on a metal container. Both done in TPU. The only ‘finicky’ thing I found was the diameter of the lid - personally I found it hard to accurately measure the container top with my tape measure, and so ended up printing a second clear lid that was 1mm smaller to get a nice tight fit.
