Lidl Playtive Kitchen Hinge Fix

Playtive is a great play kitchen from Lidl BUT the hinge they use cause wood to fail.

(Actually i think they just use very strong magnet to hold the doors closed that's why they fail)

So i had three doors broken plus a part of the kitchen.

I have designed the two parts of the hinge in a way that the have more connection with the wood so i hope they last longer.

The print is supper easy, no supports no anything special.

for the female part you have to glue it on the wood and use M4 bolts to hold it in place, in theory though because i just strap it and it holds perfectly.

for the male part you cannot glue it because it has to be free to remove if needed but you can strap it too. You need a M4 20mm bolt to act like the male part of the hinge. You can just screw it without glue, it fits nicely. if not glue it!

i have designed the knobs too if you need them!
