SummaryLight and Socket Switch Guard UK Designed for UK light switches and plug sockets as a simple way to prevent accidental switching off. I am using these for a couple of plug sockets and light switches so that they are always on. Affix to switch using double sided tape. Gap in the middle allows for accessing the switch with a toothpick or bank card etc when required. Additional 1mm bar around the edge for additional strength (and I prefer the look) Simple design in OpenSCAD meaning most settings are customisable. 32mm long and 6mm deep is sufficient clearance for most switches however onef older light switches has required 7mm clearance hence the 7mm version also attached. Printed with supports at 0.2mm resolution. v2 - Added option to add in strengthening corners / enclosed sides. Shouldn't be needed but can be used to make everything a little stronger. Also in retrospect printing after rotating 90 degrees so lying on side may also give stronger prints. My first model built us
