Light Chamber V2

This is a light chamber designed for chemometric analysis from mobile phone pictures. One of the mais challenges in gathering visual information from mobile cameras is the lighting conditions, which can be very variable from moment to moment, even in a "controled environment".
This chamber is a simple solution where LED strips are glued under the lids and a window can slide for any camera position in different mobile phone models. A side tray is used to insert several kinds of samples, from powders to grains and even whole fruits.
In the marked figure, it's possible to see the main body (A), the sliding window (B), the 2-part lid with angled supports for LED strips (C and D), the sample tray (E), one of the sample holders (F) and the powder compactor (G).
Other sample holders are available. The box has slots for two SR-32 rocker switches that can independently turn LED strips on and off, letting the user choose what is the best lighting configuration. Also the system can be powered
