My screws weren&#39;t long enough to passed through the model and still grab. I&#39;m sure it has worked for many others but in my case it didn&#39;t. So I modified it to be significantly thinner, but still strong. Now the screws grip with room to spare. As always with light switch covers, DON&#39;T overtighten. Your light switch cover will likely crack before this model does but you don&#39;t want that either. I assume others may also have this issue so I&#39;m sharing the modification.
