Light Switch Mounted Remote Control Holder (UK)

Remote control holder for the common size (40mm x 86mm x 7.2mm) you get with LED light strips. The holder can be attached to UK light switches where the distance of the screw to the edge of the panel is 12mm. Simply remove the existing screw, put the holder in place, then put the screw through the holder back into the switch plate. Check out the different profiles for a right-hand version, and one for a larger remote control which I happened to have (42mm wide, 18mm deep with curved sides). I'd like to do the same for the USA if there is a similar (common) spec, but need to get accurate dimensions for the screw thread diameter, screw head size, and the distance from the centre of the screw to the edge of the light switch panel.
