light up cat

I used "Lucy the cat" for the main model. I used Tinkercad to resize and place the hole in the bottom big enough to add in led lights. I also placed a hole in the back for the lights to be fed into the inside. I took a shipping label cut into a circle big enough to cover the hole i9n the bottom and hold everything in place. I wrapped the lights around the shaft. I secured the lights with the double faced tape on the light strip to the shaft. I placed the rest of the strip inside loose inside with the shaft. The label will hold the shaft and loose lights inside. you can glue the shaft inside if you wanted but no need with the label.


The lights I got from Walmart for around $10 USD. I got the battery operated ones so there is no power cord to plug in and it can be placed anywhere.


I made this as a Christmas gift for my Mom. I also made a couple others and I am currently in the R&D stage with those and will upload those later on.
