Lighted Knick-knack Base

This base will display clear knick-knack plaques available on Amazon, Etsy, etc.

The lighting is provided by an LED strip with a battery/switch pack purchased on Amazon ("LED String Light Battery Powered,1.64ft" by COOBATG). The top should be customized to the shape of whatever you want to display. I've provided the STL for the heart shaped plaque shown in the cover photo. Customize it by changing the raised portion to match the bottom of whatever plaque you have. Keep the round part unchanged so it will fit into the based correctly.

Assembly: Remove the support material from the bottom of the base (it's a lot). Trim the LED strip to have just 5 LEDs attached to the battery pack. Insert the LED strip from the bottom side of the base through the hole into the top side. Remove the adhesive backing and press the strip into the recessed channel. On the bottom side, squish the wires into the most-recessed space and then lay the battery/switch pack on top of the wires (it only fits one way
