Lighted Post Cap (Low Voltage)

Make your own illuminated deck post caps using this thing.

This lighted post cap is designed to work with low voltage (typically 5 or 12 VDC) wired power. Print the 4 parts, add LED strip lighting, wire, and connector to complete the project.

The bottom is sized to fit on a square post that is 4.5 - 4.75 inches across (e.g., a 4x4 wrapped in 1/2" trim boards). For other post sizes the STLs may be scaled, or you may edit the FreeCAD file.
