Lighthouse

Recently I was walking along the seashore and my gaze fell on a lighthouse. Its light penetrated the darkness, as if promising protection and comfort. This idea sank into my soul, and I wanted to transfer a part of it into everyday life.This is how the idea was born to create a decorative lighthouse, but not just a statuette, but an object capable of coming to life, emitting light, like its real prototype. I imagined it about 40 cm high - large enough to become an accent in the interior, but at the same time compact and functional.Work on the project began with sketches. I tried to preserve the classic forms: a massive base, a refined body and a neat lantern roof. The lighthouse had to be realistic, but simplified for ease of printing.The most exciting stage was choosing a light source.
