This is a cutout for a lighting cable. I will use it to make a dock for an iPad Mini Retna and an iPad Air. I am only uploading the STL file right now. I will upload the OpenSCAD files once I make it a function. If you do print it to test, be aware that the fit is TIGHT! Getting the cable in was much easier than getting the cable out. I actually had to pry the piece apart to get it out. When I make the dock, this is what I want as I won'™t plan to take the cable out. Its dimensions are based on the apple cable.
I am interested in comments. I know that a dock that has the connector 3cm'™s off the desk is a lot of wasted space. I will try to make speaker re-directors to use some of the space in the front.
