LilWinch

I made this little winch for a project I'm working on for automating my window blinds, but I've found the little fella kinda fun more generally so thought I'd share it. So far I've tested it to about 20N with a 24V motor, but that was definitely starting to sound a bit sketchy. I'm currently using a couple of them with 100RPM, 12VDC motors for ~10N pull force and they seem to be liking it just fine.I've put full details on the build here, and you can find the design files on OnShape here.Category: Gadgets
