Lcd + arduino + python equals this little gadget, and I named it limesplay 'cause it's a green display... so sue me ;)
Certainly overkill to use an arduino for this simple task, i'm actually using some sort of ebay clone + fdti, but that or an nano will do.
Python script is written for ubuntu right now, but the librarys have cross-platform support so it's a 3 min hack if you have windows. Or poke me and I'll edit it for windows aswell.
There, got my stand printed and added to startup, time to forget and enjoy.. It's a very simple design, but i like the simplicity and transparency of it.
.. i might change to some shorter/neater wiring later ;)
