Hello Makers,

this test is for printers that have the linear advance function in their firmware, or just want to test some bridging.

If you never heard about linear advance, look at Matt´s Hub. Great explanation as always.

https://mattshub.com/2017/10/02/linear-advance/

I made this test, cause i knew with the new linear advance function for Prusa i3 MK2S, the printer could handle double the print speeds for PLA e.g.

So that means 120 mm/s for the print head with standard PLA, and the material is too sluggish to "fall down" when going over gaps.

But what bridge distances are possible? Thats what the part is for.

Starts with a 10mm long bridge (see green line for dimensions) and ends with 35mm on the small part and 60mm on the large one. The bridges get longer by 5mm increments per bridge.

This test will also show how sluggish your material behaves.

Have fun with testing your new linear advance, i love that function.
