This level sensor may look a classic and obsolete object (at least as it is developed...). Its strength is in the innovative concept of reading signals from the floanting assembly: a magnetic small plate runs along a curved surface with specific hardware sensors. The electronics, positioned inside the piece just behind the wheel's float, does the rest sendind right signals to the car's ECU (and important: the electronics is out of the tank in a dry and isolated place). This tecnical object is assembled today with inexpensive materials (plastics and iron/steel) and the necessary technology for manufacturing of the individual parts It is in common use (for example the injection molding used in the plastics industry). The materials are suitable for use with the majority of hydrocarbons (PA6, Derlin, Viton, etc.) and They resist at the required temperatures (-40°C to +170°C). This piece has compact dimensions and this is why suitable for automotive market (It is easily adaptable to different uses). For as it is conceived it is usable from a horizontal position to 45° (this to facilitate the maintenance or the replacement of the workpiece, so it is not necessary to remove the tank, action can be taken out from under the car).
