A lithophane frame to display your favorite images!
Parts List:
12x 4mm LEDs
Voltage Booster
Switch
AA Battery Holder
4x M3x12mm Screws
2x M3x6mm Screws
When you use the lithophane generator in bambu labs, use the "Mono Litho with 3-Size Frame" and then select the 3:2 size.
Here are a few notes from the ones I made:
- For the voltage booster, before you close the housing up make sure to test the circuit. You need a really small flat head to turn the potentiometer on the booster counterclockwise A TON. I just left the circuit on and kept turning it until the lights came on.
- Since the wires on the back of the LED array are all pretty much exposed, I put a piece of craft foam between the array and the rest of the circuit to prevent any metal from touching.
- The “light array” and “spacer” need to be printed in white. Everything else just needs to be a darker filament to prevent light from bleeding through.
A tutorial video will be posted soon!
