This lamp was created as a gift for loved ones.
Four 10x10cm lithophane images can be placed in the lamp shade.
The lampshade can be freely rotated in a horizontal plane.
To perform it, in addition to 3D printed elements, I used:
- RGBW LED bulb with E14 thread with IR remote control - this allows remote lighting control from a distance of up to 8m,
- Bulb holder with E14 thread and two flanges (hole diameter for mounting the holder in the base is 29mm),
- Power cord with power switch,
- Screws with conical head M3x10 – 4 pieces.
To prepare STL files from photos, I used the site http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/
The most important settings are model dimensions - 100x100mm and thickness 3mm, and in Image Settings - image as positive.
Lithophane images were printed from the white PLA, in an upright position, along the Y axis, and with Raft.
Layer Height 0.2mm
Print Speed 30mm/s
Infill Seed 30mm/s
Wall Seed 15mm/s
Outer Wall Speed 15mm/s
Inner Wall Speed 20mm/s
