Lock-Down Dust Extractor for MPCNC

My take on a dust extraction solution for the MPCNC.

Called the Lock down version as this was a need to make with what ever was available during the Corona virus lockdown where we cannot buy any hardware at all. All i had to hand was the household vaccum cleaner and some 40mm plumbing plastic pipe left over from a repair some years back.

This is my first attempt at a make and I found Tinkercad a joy to use. So simple even I could do it.

Because of the Makita routers cooling method, there is a strong down draft so my first design was not good enough to be really effective, I found I needed a deflector which I found here on Thingiverse from fretman_2 which worked perfectly. Makes the extraction from design v3 really powerful. I have to be careful as it will suck up internal pieces once cut through so keep an eye on things when using it.

Be aware of any work piece hold down clamps which may snag especially those to the LH side of the work area as this does reduce the clearan
