Lockable ball caster foot

This adapter allows you to use low-height 1" ball casters (¼-20 stud style) on round metal table legs. The parametric Fusion file is included for easy remixing. Printing tipsNote there are two mid-print pauses to drop in a ¼" washer and nut.This is a functional, load bearing part. While PLA works fine and other materials will likely be less brittle, please note the various strength settings in my original print profile if you slice this yourself - some areas have been reinforced.The base ring that contacts the floor when you want to disable the caster can optionally be printed in TPU. I did some in TPU-for-AMS and some without - the floor grip is slightly better with TPU, but it's not really necessary. Doing all-PLA/PETG is also sturdy. If you DO print in TPU, remember to use glue stick and the textured build plate for easier removal, especially because the H2D will heat your build plate hotter than TPU's default (for the other main filament used).The outer caster-disab
