Unless held straight, the cable connection would cut out.
Friction fit and sits snug in the USB front I/O on my son's PC. His case is a NZXT H210 if that matters.

Pretty much stock settings on my Neptune 3 Pro. Feel free to edit or print for others if it'll help!
